An invaluable Motorhome accessory to dispose of wastewater..
When a drive-over waste point is not available or when hooked up in a site with a permanent drain we would have used a flat hose that needs to be extended fully and not kinked, an awful proposition. These small pipes have obvious advantages over that in that they are small, but double in size at a pull, they are of a fixed diameter that cannot collapse and can be extended infinitely by buying more sections... but it shouldn't be overlooked how valuable the FlexiWaste's ability to retain its shape is also hugely useful. We have found we are using these more and more on the Motorhome as we can connect a single FlexiWaste to the drain and guide it into a wheelie waste container to extend stays in remote areas, to guide the waste better into usable drains and when a permanent drain is available it can be routed behind wheels and around terrain without the worry of it moving. After use, the tubes collapse down to half their size and rinse out easily prior to packing away. I couldn't recommend this product enough.
Handy hoses!
Bought these in the summer but it was a couple of months before we used them and I forgot to write a review at the time - sorry! These hoses are ideal for motorhome drainage when you're on a fully serviced pitch or on a site where they let you drain grey waste into the hedge. We find that leaving the waste tap open allows the water to drain straight out of the tank, reducing the nasty niffs you can get from greywater festering in the tank. You could also use them to empty your grey waste into an MH service point if access is a bit tricky.
The hoses are really easy to use and clean, and the handy bag keeps them together and away from clean items in the van. We also have the Colapz 3in1 watering can/bucket which is very handy for freshwater refills. Definitely recommended!
Slow flowing waste is now a thing of the past.
So many times, in the past, I have laid out a length of continuous waste pipe to the nearest drain only to find, because it was longer than I needed, that the excess looped up and caused the shower or sink to back up. No more. Using this system I extend the sections to the exact length required and away it flows! It also connects easily to the same push-fit connectors (like two-way adapters etc.) I have already got it. So easy. The only criticism I have is that you have to be somewhat careful when closing the extended pieces back when packing up, or the ridges can 'nip' the web of skin between your thumb and forefinger. But you soon learn!
Great product, perfect fit for a motorhome waste pipe
Just what we needed for our motorhome, enables us to pipe waste either into a container or to a waste grid where a drive-over drop point is not available. Waste disposal quickly became an issue where sites with no drop point could not provide an alternative. Our Motorhome is quite low to the ground so unless we are on-ramps we could not easily put a container under the waste pipe to empty, we as many motorhomes used (as we discovered) a washing up bowl with may trip across a field to empty it which is not ideal. This product popped up on my search page and provides the perfect solution. The fitting is graduated so fits perfectly and the pipe is expandable by a long way, we have bought an extra pipe to increase its reach. It comes in a handy bag to store away compactly- highly recommended.
